Montreal Graffiti 1985-2005

I realize that the title of this post gives the impression that Montreal Graffiti was born in 1985 and died in 2005, and obviously that is not true. However, my photography collection of it started in 1985 and ended in 2005. I have thousands of photographs and have only scanned and uploaded 55 to Flickr so far. I won't upload them all, but there are a few more to come, I hope you enjoy them.

Hi Teresa,
Thanks for your visit, your collection is a great idea, have you thought of approaching a publisher with it?
I recently bought a book about street artists, a book about Montreal art would be great.

thanks for the comments!

Isabelle -- I had thought about approaching a publisher, I think I even approached the Canada Council for a grant to help offset the photography costs (these are all 35mm negatives/prints). Maybe once I get the "best of" up on Flickr I'll re-evaluate.

RRRamone -- I'm going to try to find your graffiti pix on Flickr.

Merlinprincesse -- better not procrastinate too long (especially with all the celebrations in Quebec this year -- I'd think they'd be washing it all away). Of course, even if you don't get this year's crop, graffiti always grows back!
