Wow... this palm reader sounds like me. I'm an endless skeptic when it comes to this sort of thing.

I really like the expression on the fortune teller's face -- great befuddlement. Also, the fingernails are a nice touch.

Funny! I like the palm reader's hair and the perspective. Ever been to a palm reader? My wife and I went to one in New Orleans. It was located in the back room of a voodoo shop (!). A little creepy but fun! We'd do it again and the stuff the reader said was accurate. Anyway, great drawing!

I love your blog! You and I seem to share a lot of things in common. I just bought a book written by Ollie Johnston, who worked at Disney. Awesome book!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you don't mind if I link your blog to my page. Let me know if it's okay!

Hey all, thanks for your comments! I found this week to be a bit difficult and almost gave up. On Friday I was working on a piece that was wrinkles of a tree - i.e. bark, but it just didn't work. It wasn't until Saturday morning that I thought of this idea.

Van Dyke! Is it possible that the palm reader you went to in New Orleans was Colo Milling? I have been to see him and I agree, he was pretty accurate. I found the inebriated tourists on Bourbon street more scary than any of the voodoo stuff ;o)

Sisu, permission to link granted, link away!
